Post Not Included
1. MOUNTING TO A 4x4 POST
a. Use a 1x6 board (approximately 6" - 10" long) and center it on top of the post. Run a few screws from the top of the board into the post to fasten them together.
b. Once board is fastened to the post, you can set your mailbox on top of the board. You can either run a few screws from the bottom of the board into the base of the mailbox or run the screws down into the board from the inside of the mailbox. Make sure the mailbox is fastened properly to the board.
2. MOUNTING TO A POST WITH ARM
a. If your mailbox post already has an arm attached to it with a board suitable to set your mailbox on top, you can use this as the board described above.
