How to Care for Your Amish Basket
Use the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner or a soft dry duster or rag to remove loose dirt and debris. Use a damp (not wet) cloth to clean spills and spots. Avoid close contact with cooking areas. Grease and cooking odors can settle into wood over time. Avoid direct sunlight as this can cause premature fading and drying.

It's simply wonderful. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, the way the pieces are woven and attached. I am using this basket on an iron settee in a catio; it is intended to be a place where a cat can perch. The oak seems quite durable; time will tell, as there is water that gets on it when there's rain. This basket would be awesome inside. On that settee it's beautiful, too. On the bottom of it, is the signature of the person who crafted it. I love that.
